Allied Universal in Dallas, TX is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer focused on controlled entry operations. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, and provide customer service to employees and visitors in an industrial setting.

This role requires alert, professional communication and strict adherence to site procedures. Day and evening shifts are available; pay rate is $16.22 per hour with opportunities to expand duties via our Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and control access to authorized areas of the industrial location.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, exits, perimeter areas, and designated facility locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and irregularities in accordance with Allied Universal and client site procedures.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
