As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and communicating professionally with employees and guests. You will remain visible, respond to security‑related concerns, and support site operations through teamwork and integrity. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Fri 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Manage access control by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit activity, and documenting visitor and contractor arrivals and departures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including access points and restricted areas; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
