Allied Universal in Dallas, TX is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer – Access Control Driver. This role supports our clients across commercial real estate by managing visitor access, monitoring entry points, and driving to designated sites.

You will provide professional customer service, verify credentials, respond to incidents, and maintain accurate shift records. A valid driver's license and relevant access control experience are preferred; CPR and guard-card credentials are a plus.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and control entry and exit in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the property, including common areas, parking areas, building perimeters, and access points, to help identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate reports and shift records, including incidents, access issues, visitor activity, and maintenance concerns involving access-control equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
