Allied Universal in Pueblo, CO is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for Access Control. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain a visible presence to deter security incidents.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Verify credentials, authorize entry in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records.
• Monitor access points, alarms, and security-related systems; report irregularities, unauthorized access attempts, and equipment concerns according to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, restricted areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
