Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly following reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points and verify visitor, contractor, and employee authorization per site procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities and share relevant information with Allied Universal leadership.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $26.13 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points and verify visitor, contractor, and employee authorization in accordance with site procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
