You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage badge access, document activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.70 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at an aerospace and defense manufacturing location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain entry records, and direct employees, contractors, and visitors in accordance with established site requirements.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including business operations, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, while reporting unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Support protection of controlled materials, equipment, and sensitive areas by following access-control procedures and promptly documenting security-related incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
