Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Respond to incidents and customer concerns in a calm, professional manner, escalating as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting suspicious behavior and policy violations.
• Complete accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports per site requirements.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and assist visitors, shoppers, and employees with professionalism. You will use strong communication and customer service skills to support a welcoming environment while documenting observations and collaborating with the Allied Universal team with integrity, reliability, and care.

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun: 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify unusual activity and potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
