Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by performing access-control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain accurate entry/exit records per site procedures.
• Control access for trucks, drivers, vendors, and personnel while supporting orderly traffic flow at entry points.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify appropriate site contacts and leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, parking locations, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out access‑control procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site procedures.
• Control access for incoming and outgoing trucks, drivers, vendors, and/or personnel while supporting orderly traffic flow at gates, docks, and designated entry areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking locations, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report security‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
