Job summary

Securitas, Inc. is seeking a part-time Security Officer at the Springfield, OR site. The role involves maintaining a secure environment, responding to emergencies, and enforcing policies while providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus.
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

• Protect sensitive information and intellectual property from unauthorized access.

• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct long patrols of premises including buildings, parking lots, & entry points to identify potential security risks.
• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.

Schedule: Saturday 3pm-11pm, Sunday 11am-11pm
