Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Delphi, IN to monitor and protect clients in a food and beverage environment. You will perform patrols, verify access, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional presence in a fast-paced facility.

Position offers a part-time schedule with shifts Fri and Sat 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM and a pay rate of $15.15 per hour, plus opportunities for training and career growth within Allied Universal’s supportive culture.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and maintain logs for deliveries and inspections.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies following procedures and report observations promptly.
• Document incidents and patrol findings in clear reports while maintaining a professional presence.

Pay Rate: $15.15 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri – 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat – 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a food and beverage production location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs for deliveries, inspections, and other site activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and promptly reporting observations to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, patrol findings, and policy concerns in clear, timely reports while maintaining a professional presence in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
