Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time) in Delphi, IN. The role involves unarmed security at a food and beverage location, patrolling areas, monitoring access, and providing excellent customer service to staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a food and beverage production location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs for deliveries, inspections, and other site activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and promptly reporting observations to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, patrol findings, and policy concerns in clear, timely reports while maintaining a professional presence in a fast-paced industrial environment.
