Job summary

Allied Universal in San Diego, CA is seeking an Security Officer Overnight Residential Full Time Patrol Driver. You will patrol residential properties, assist residents and visitors, and maintain high visibility to deter incidents while providing professional security services.

The role requires prior security experience, a valid driver’s license, and ability to operate a computer or tablet. It includes a rotating night schedule and opportunities for growth within a large nationwide security

Qualifications

• Possess at least one year of law enforcement experience, two years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or three years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and suspicious activity according to site procedures.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and communications accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
