Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer - Operations Surveillance in Chandler, AZ. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service to clients in Tech/Media/Telecom environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of data center areas, office spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery personnel in accordance with site requirements, maintaining accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, contractors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related observations and operational concerns.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
