As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and respond to alarms as needed. Pay Rate: $19.38 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized access, and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Maintain a professional presence while assisting with traffic flow, facility access, and other security-related duties assigned by Allied Universal and site leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
