Job summary

Allied Universal in Phoenix is seeking a Security Officer Patrol - Unarmed to protect clients across technology-focused sites such as Tech/Media/Telecom. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible security presence, and provide friendly, professional customer service.

This full-time role requires adherence to site procedures, timely incident reporting, and collaboration with the team to deter security incidents and ensure a safe workplace.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, entrances, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and potential hazards in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting Allied Universal leadership and/or emergency services as directed by site protocols.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, visitor interactions, and other security-related events.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
