Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Active Patrol in Mesa, AZ. This full-time position involves monitoring and safeguarding client sites at a technology location, delivering customer service, and supporting access control.

You will perform unarmed patrols, respond to incidents, and complete shift reports with a collaborative team that values integrity and service. A valid driver's license is required; CPR/First Aid certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology office spaces, campuses, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor entry points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment for personnel and guests.
• Complete accurate shift reports, incident documentation, and required communications while following Allied Universal and client site expectations.

As a Security Officer - Active Patrol in Mesa, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in the job state. What You'll Do:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
