Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery partners while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control screening requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or vehicles in accordance with established logistics facility procedures.
• Verify identification, access credentials, shipping documentation, and authorized entry requirements before allowing access to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entry points, loading areas, and the facility perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time X Ray Object Recognition in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening people and property, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service while helping to identify prohibited items and maintain orderly operations. Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
