Job summary

Securitas, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer for multiple client sites, including Vernon Hills, IL. The role involves patrolling, controlling access, monitoring systems, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe environment.

The position offers flexible shifts across various sites with pay per hour. Candidates should have a high school diploma, a valid license, and CPR/AED/First Aid certification. Prior security or military experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification needed (provided).
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and vigilant during shift.
• Must respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, communication abilities, and quick decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Uphold company policies, safety regulations, and legal compliance standards.
• Protect sensitive information and intellectual property from unauthorized access.

• Conduct regular patrols of premises including buildings, parking lots, and entry points to identify potential security risks.
• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.

Wage: $21.00-$22.00/Hour

The Multi Site Security Officer provides security at various client sites by protecting people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.
