Job summary

Securitas, Inc. seeks a Security Officer for multi-site coverage in Vernon Hills, IL. You will patrol premises, monitor surveillance, control access, and respond to emergencies to keep people and property safe.

Candidates must be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and CPR/AED/First Aid certification. Flexible shifts with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Above-average computer / technology skills needed.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification needed (provided).
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and vigilant during shift.
• Must respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in pre-employment screening (drug screen and background investigation).

Primary Site Location: Vernon Hills, IL

Wage: $21.00-$22.00/Hour

The Multi Site Security Officer provides security at various client sites by protecting people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.
