Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license required per company policy.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• As a condition of employment, a drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Mobile Response Driver in El Paso, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and associates. This driving position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity through a visible presence while maintaining courteous interactions with customers, employees, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
