Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Corporate Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA. The role involves patrolling retail/mall areas, providing customer service, and maintaining safety. Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• A background investigation will be conducted in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen is required as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor assigned retail and mall areas for unusual activity, access concerns, and/or potential policy violations, and report observations through required channels.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; request additional support when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
