• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and communicate observations to site leadership or emergency responders.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Amarillo, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and potential hazards to help deter theft, trespassing, and other unwanted activity.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and promptly communicate relevant observations to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
