Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver for evenings in Glen Burnie, MD. You will provide customer service while patrolling the site, monitor areas, and enforce security procedures.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, 18+; a Security Professional Guard Card is preferred; background check and drug screen apply. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive pay.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to store customers, employees, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate store personnel and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Support emergency response activities and assist with access control, crowd management, and incident documentation as assigned.

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver Evenings in Glen Burnie, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
