Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct routine and random unarmed patrols of facility grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter; report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, support facility protocols, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with staff and responding agencies to deter unauthorized access and maintain a welcoming environment.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter; report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, support facility protocols, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and responding agencies while helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting a welcoming care environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
