As a Driving Unarmed Security Officer, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols across assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, and respond to concerns with professionalism. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of municipal buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned locations, documenting incidents, patrols, and relevant observations in accordance with site procedures.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly public‑facing environment by providing directions, answering general questions, and reporting maintenance or security‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
