Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a Full Time Mobile Driver role in Newport Beach, CA. You will patrol a gated community, provide customer service to residents and staff, and maintain a visible security presence during overnight shifts.

Role requires driving, attention to detail, and adherence to safety procedures. You will work with a team to deter incidents and ensure a safe environment for residents and visitors.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors and vendors while following site procedures and safety protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of grounds, buildings, parking areas and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per property policies and document observations.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and emergencies, contacting appropriate staff or authorities.
• Complete activity logs and incident reports and relay notable conditions to leadership.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Driver Gated Community in Newport Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and assist residents, visitors, and staff with professional service. Pay Rate: $23.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a residential community.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of community grounds, buildings, parking areas, amenities, and perimeter areas to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with property policies, documenting relevant observations and incidents.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate notable conditions to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
