As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and document security-related activity using computer or tablet tools. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation.
• Help maintain a professional, orderly environment by communicating respectfully with the public and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
