Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Los Angeles, CA. You will monitor and patrol interior and exterior areas, provide a welcoming, safe environment for employees and visitors, and respond to incidents with professional communication.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution location while carrying out security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and document activities.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
