Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol in Los Angeles, CA. You will serve clients, conduct armed patrols, maintain access control, and respond to emergencies while delivering professional customer service.

Responsibilities include logging activities, reporting incidents, and following post orders. Minimum requirements include 1 year of security experience and an armed guard card; a background check and drug screen are required where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be performed as part of employment.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Industry-specific security training may be required.

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a government law-enforcement location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, maintain visitor and vehicle logs, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following post orders and applicable procedures.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and daily activity documentation; communicate observations and relevant information to supervisors, client representatives, and law-enforcement personnel as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
