Job summary

Allied Universal in Dallas, TX seeks a full-time unarmed Security Officer to protect healthcare facilities. You will patrol, monitor access, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. CPR/First Aid and guard card credentials are preferred.

Responsibilities include regular patrols, incident reporting, and ensuring access control. You will work a set night/weekend schedule and collaborate with a caring, professional team.

Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in line with laws.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving roles where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while performing security procedures and emergency response.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare areas, entrances, parking, and perimeter.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns calmly and escalate per site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity and report suspicious activity.
• Complete accurate activity reports and shift communications per site requirements.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed CPR First Aid Patrol in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to patients, visitors, and staff while responding professionally to concerns. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.69 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sun 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare office areas, building entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, maintaining awareness of authorized entry requirements and reporting suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
