Job summary

Monarch Casino Resort Spa in Black Hawk, Colorado, seeks a Security Officer to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for guests and team members. You will monitor activity, assist in emergencies, and support property operations with discretion and professionalism.

The role requires 18+ years of age, valid driver’s license, and ability to obtain Colorado Gaming License; CPR/First Aid is preferred or obtainable after hire. Includes enhanced benefits and shift flexibility.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Colorado Gaming License.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred, or ability to obtain after hire.
• Strong communication and observational skills for safety and guest service.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular ID checks to ensure guests are at least 21 where required.
• Patrol assigned areas to maintain safety of guests, team members, and assets.
• Maintain physical surveillance and report suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and security requests.
• Provide emergency first aid as needed and document incidents.
• Coordinate with Guest Services, Table Games, Slots and other departments as needed.
