• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas and entrances/exits.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, policy violations, and incidents to site contacts and leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following site protocols.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and monitoring of store operations to deter unauthorized activity.

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Observe and report unusual activity, potential hazards, policy violations, and incidents to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and monitoring of store operations to help deter unauthorized activity and support an orderly customer experience.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
