As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Unit in Covington Township, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

$17.43 / Hour

Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service: Deliver customer service to visitors, members, and staff by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑related support, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail location.
• Incident response: Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Patrols: Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, entrance areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor traffic: Monitor entrances, exits, and high‑traffic areas to help deter theft, policy violations, and other unusual activity while maintaining a professional presence.
• Support loss prevention: Support loss prevention and security‑related reporting by observing customer and employee activity, noting suspicious behavior, and relaying information according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
