Job summary

Allied Universal® is recruiting a Security Officer Credential Validation in Polk City, FL. You will safeguard clients across industries by managing site entry, verifying credentials, monitoring access points, and upholding a secure environment with excellent customer service.

The role requires at least one year of security experience, with preference for badge/access-control expertise and customer service background. Schedule includes varied shifts; pay is $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points at a utilities location, verify authorized access credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor logs.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity or potential operational concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and emergency responders, documenting incidents, access-related activity, and unusual conditions in accordance with site requirements.

• Tue: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
