Allied Universal is a leading security and facility services company in North America. As a Security Officer Access Systems Coordinator in Lakeland, FL, you will protect client sites, monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor records, and coordinate with employees, drivers, and guests to maintain a secure environment.

The role is full-time with a pay rate of $17.00 per hour. You will work a 4-day evening schedule and participate in safety procedures, incident response, and patrols

Formación

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Guard card/license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access at designated entry/exit points for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a logistics and distribution location.
• Verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor records, issue access badges or passes as directed, and report access-control concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
