Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background checks as required by law.
• Allied Universal will consider applicants with criminal histories per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, drivers, and visitors by following site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a retail distribution location, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor records, and control access to restricted areas.
• Screen inbound and outbound vehicles, coordinate with receiving and shipping personnel, and document deliveries, pickups, and driver arrivals in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns per established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading docks, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.

• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
