Qualifications

• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background checks and drug screening required.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

• Mon: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Tue: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Wed: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Thur: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Fri: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a front desk location within a utilities environment while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery logs.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems from the front desk, reporting unusual activity or equipment concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Answer and route incoming calls, provide general site information, and support a professional, welcoming front desk environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
