As a Security Officer Licensed Unarmed Patrol in San Bernardino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a government location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, court personnel, attorneys, jurors, and other members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with established court facility procedures, reporting unusual or unauthorized activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergency situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting emergency services or court personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of court facility areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain professional communication with Allied Universal leadership, court staff, and responding agencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
