Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Security Checks in San Bernadino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally, and provide exceptional customer service. What You've Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, maintaining awareness of restricted areas and reporting unusual conditions.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for incidents, patrols, and security‑related observations.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
