Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in San Bernardino, CA. You will provide customer service, perform unarmed patrols, and respond to incidents at a government location, maintaining a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, background check per federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories per applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while carrying out security procedures and site policies at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and notify appropriate personnel or agencies as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vehicle, and employee activity per site procedures.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, daily logs, and other required documentation.

Pay Rate: $21.49 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 03:30 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sat 03:30 PM - 11:30 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or public agency representatives as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vehicle, and employee activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
