Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Fri 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Sat 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry of staff, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site protocols, while maintaining a professional presence.
• Assist with traffic, crowd, and public access management during daily operations, meetings, and/or special events, following post orders and client-directed procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
