Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Incident Reporting in Salinas, CA. You will monitor and protect client sites, provide exceptional customer service, and support site operations while maintaining a visible security presence and following site policies.

The role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to explore new shifts via the Claim a Shift platform, with a pay rate of $19.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements include a guard card or license (preferred).
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen will be required as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and policies, including emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, dock areas, trailer yards, parking areas and perimeter.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations involving freight operations, drivers, visitors, and delivery activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, dock areas, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
