Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Incident Reporting in Salinas, CA, for a part-time role focused on monitoring, patrolling, and responding to incidents to protect people, property, and operations at a logistics and distribution site. You will provide customer service while enforcing site policies and maintaining a visible security presence.

The schedule runs DayTime 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM and 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM on Tue; pay is $19.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations involving freight operations, drivers, visitors, and delivery activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, dock areas, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
