• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution center and surrounding areas to deter incidents.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain visitor, contractor, and delivery documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm, clear communication to leadership and responders.
• Document patrols and incidents accurately, in line with policy.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and associates by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution center, warehouse areas, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain visitor, contractor, and delivery documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to site leadership and emergency responders as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and promptly, following Allied Universal and client site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
