The role supports safety and smooth operations with a friendly, team-oriented approach. The position is part-time during swing shifts with a fixed schedule and an hourly pay rate.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted under applicable laws.
• Criminal histories are considered in a fair, lawful manner.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by conducting access-control procedures and following site policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points; verify access credentials and delivery-related access requirements.
• Maintain access logs and badges; communicate access concerns to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents calmly and solve problems during unauthorized access or alarms.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, parking, loading areas, and perimeter to deter incidents.

Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour

• Mon: 03:30 PM - 07:30 PM
• Tue: 03:30 PM - 07:30 PM
• Wed: 03:30 PM - 07:30 PM
• Thur: 03:30 PM - 07:30 PM
• Fri: 03:30 PM - 07:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points for the logistics and distribution location; verify authorized access credentials, visitor records, and delivery-related access requirements.
• Maintain access logs, issue and retrieve visitor badges or temporary credentials, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including unauthorized-access attempts, traffic-related concerns, and facility alarms.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
