Allied Universal in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Security Officer Part Time X Ray Image Analysis to protect clients in logistics and distribution settings.

As a Screener, you will use screening equipment to identify prohibited items, maintain a visible presence, and provide customer-focused service to staff and visitors at a fast-paced site.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law and company policy.
• Drug screen required where law allows.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or property entering designated areas in accordance with established screening procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business and perimeter, and document observations in required reports.

What You'll Do:
