As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will use screening technology to help identify prohibited items, support access procedures, and maintain a professional presence. You will interact with employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and property entering or leaving the facility in accordance with established screening protocols.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry to restricted operational areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading zones, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
