Job summary

Responsibilities include responding to emergencies, securing facilities, preparing reports, and assisting law enforcement when needed. Strong communication and public relations skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Education - H.S. Diploma or GED.
• Experience - Less than 1 year of experience.
• Certifications: BLS within 30 days of hire; Commissioned Security Officer within 6 months; TX DL within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Patrols assigned areas and maintains radio contact with base and officers.
• Maintains order and intervenes calmly per rules and regulations.
• Responds to public service calls and assists with escorts, vehicle unlocks, and parking issues.
• Provides assistance to police officers as required, including during arrests.
• Responds to medical emergencies within training scope.
• Locks and unlocks facilities as authorized to ensure security.
• Produces concise reports on offenses, false alarms, hazards, and general information.
• Handles sensitive investigations and protects confidential information.
• Manages traffic flow at points of interest and issues parking citations.
