Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of security/civilian law enforcement experience or equivalent military service.
• One year of work experience demonstrating ability to follow directions, meet attendance requirements and complete training to certify.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Fluent in speaking and writing in English.
• Able to pass criminal background screen, drug test and physical exam.

Responsibilities

• Keep supervisors informed of unusual occurrences and important events.
• Monitor alarms, radio traffic and other information sources.
• Report and address fire alarms, burglar alarms, requests for assistance and criminal acts.
• Stop, screen, and inspect vehicles and pedestrians as directed by post orders.
• Escort individuals or vehicles as directed by post orders and protocols.
• Monitor access control and RFID systems; report violations.
• Maintain logs and administrative documents as required by contract.
• Cooperate with local, state, or federal law enforcement; assist with evidence and testimony.
