Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2 years of security or civilian law enforcement experience or equivalent military experience.
• Must have a Massachusetts weapons carry permit.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Able to pass background check, drug test and physical exam.

Responsibilities

• Keep supervisors informed of unusual occurrences and important events as per post orders.
• Monitor alarms and radio traffic; respond or inform as needed.
• Report and address fires, burglaries, thefts, threats, and other incidents.
• Screen and inspect vehicles and pedestrians per post orders and protocols.
• Ensure security of government property and deter unauthorized removal.
• Conduct regular patrols and inspections of buildings and facilities.
